How your licence is activated.
The licence is tied to your NinjaTrader account, not to one computer. Here is the whole process, including what happens when you change machine.
Choose your pack and pay
Payment is handled by our payment provider, which issues the invoice with your country's tax.

The one you sign in to NinjaTrader with. You get an email with the steps.
We register the licence
It is tied to your account, with the start and end date of your subscription.
You install the pack
It imports as an add-on from the platform itself. You receive the file and the instructions.
Which email we need
Your NinjaTrader account email: the one you sign in to the platform with. That is all we need. It may not be the address you pay with, so check before sending it — a licence issued to a different address unlocks nothing. We never ask for your password, and the address alone gives no access to your account.
You need NinjaTrader Desktop 8.1.5.0 or later: earlier versions do not recognise this type of licence. You can check under Help › About….
What people usually ask
Can I use it on two computers?
Yes. The licence follows your account, so it works on any machine you sign in from — desktop and laptop, for example. The limit is set by the platform itself: two simultaneous market data sessions per account.
What if I change pack?
Remove the previous one before installing the new one, from Tools › Remove NinjaScript Assembly… Packs share indicators —Complete is Essential plus Orderflow Pro— and NinjaTrader will not hold the same one twice. Same if you are coming from the free pack: its five indicators are inside Essential.
What if I change computer?
Nothing to do. Install the pack on the new machine, sign in with your account and it works. Windows updates and hardware changes do not affect it either.
When does it stop working if I do not renew?
The licence carries an end date. When it arrives, the indicators stop drawing. The change takes effect the next time you restart your computer, so they may keep running a little longer.
What is charged monthly and what is bought once?
Indicator packs are a subscription, monthly or yearly, because they grow: when a new indicator lands, you have it. Replicator and Journal are a one-off purchase: bought once and yours.
Are updates charged separately?
No. For packs, while the licence is active. For Replicator and Journal, included with no time limit. The one boundary: if NinjaTrader released a major platform version that forced the tool to be rebuilt, that would be a new product.
Do I need paid market data?
For the order flow indicators you need data that includes the bid and ask breakdown. The platform ships with free delayed data, which is fine to try things out but not to trade live.
Does it work with my broker?
The indicators run on the platform, so they work with any broker you have connected to it.
